I'M HEATHER

I’m passionate about helping others feel confident and in control of their financial picture. As a bookkeeper, I specialize in cleaning up complex and disorganized books—several of my clients came to me with years of back work, and I’ve successfully brought everything up to date with accuracy and clarity. The CPAs I’ve worked with consistently praise my attention to detail and the quality of my reports, often referring new clients my way.
I currently serve eight small business clients and am proud to have a 100% client retention rate. My background as a former science teacher and department chair has given me a strong foundation in managing budgets, organizing systems, and clearly communicating processes—skills that translate directly to supporting small business owners with their bookkeeping. I also managed a multi-million dollar Department of Education grant at UCSD, further deepening my financial oversight experience.
I hold a B.S. in Marine Biology, an M.A. in Education. My goal is to give you the clarity and confidence you need to grow your business—while I handle the books behind the scenes.
